“Fashion 401K”
As we all know, how you look here in LA is as important as what you do. But has anyone weighed the price of Gucci against the price of gas lately? With the economy the way it is, you might think that any type of fashionable outfit or accessory is a luxury you just can’t afford right now.
I’m here with good news – there’s a way to spend your money and save it, too.
Many professional women face a big dilemma when it comes to money – you want a nice wardrobe, but your savings account balances are slightly more than nonexistent. Do you buy the outfit, or do put that money away for later? To make matters worse, some women find themselves without a choice. They go from a business-casual job to one that requires more formal attire and they only have one suit in the closet; for them, shopping isn’t a luxury – it’s a requirement!
Knowing all of this and having faced these situations ourselves, my friend and associate, Viviana M. Rueda, founder of Vivendi Fashionista and I have come up with a novel idea for helping you do both. We’ve put together a new workshop series called Fashion 401(k): Invest in Yourself and Save for a Fashionable Lifestyle, that will give you the everyday tools you need to have that killer wardrobe AND put away money for retirement. Here are the basics:
